WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

– In most cases, turnaround time is within ten working days. However, Mix Masterz Studios and its engineers are very busy, so in exceptional circumstances it may be longer. If this is the case, you will be notified and given the option to cancel your mix and receive a refund.
– Two mix or instrumental revisions are included in the price. Please inform Mix Masterz Studios or Shayzar within 24 hours of mix delivery if you require a revision.
– Our goal is to fix eventual problems (noise reduction and additional editing) to maximize the tone of the track (EQ or harmonic generators) and to give the song a professional level with respect to the dynamic s! (Mono or multi-bands compression and limiting).
– Mix and Mastering rates are cumulative. If you’ve already mixed or mastered 10 songs or bought over 20 instrumentals with us in the past and are ready to master 10 more songs or buy more instrumentals, you would receive a 10 % additional discount on your new work.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Please read all the information below carefully

1. It is your responsibility to ensure the multi-tracks provided are ready for mixing. Please do not assume any tuning or timing issues will be automatically resolved. However if a small amount of tuning is desired you can provide this information. If our engineer suspects the amount of tuning or editing will seriously intrude on mix time you will be informed. Large amounts of tuning and editing will be charged for and will delay turnaround time. It’s in your best interest to do any tuning and editing in your time so we can maximize time spent mixing your song
2. We accept wav or Aiff files at 44.1, 48,882 and 96khz, 16 or 24bit
3. Please supply us with mono or stereo files, clearly named without audio clipping. Stereo files will be counted as 2 tracks of audio, for example “Strings L & R “ will be counted as 2 tracks
4. You will need to provide multi-tracks that are consolidated or bounced from the start point of your song (bar 1 beat 1 or start time code). All files must be of the same duration, sample rate and bit depth.
5. We have a 48 track limit.
6. A track cannot share different sounds, for example a backing vocal track with a guitar solo in the middle. If you need to bounce files to save on tracks, we suggest backing vocals and harmonies as a good place to start. If so, please make sure any bounces of this nature are in tune, in time and panned to your satisfaction before you bounce.
7. We request that multi-track files are supplied dry, without reverb or effects. However, if you feel a specific effect, processing, or creative element (such as filter sweeps, delays, etc.) is an integral part of the sound, please provide the processed version plus a “dry safety” version. This will not add to your overall track count.
8. Depending on the nature of the project we may request midi files, Cubase, Reason, Fruity Loops, Studio 1, Logic files or an OMF export from the recording program.
9. Make sure you allow plenty of head room when printing your multi-tracks to avoid clipping or distortion. These artifacts can be removed in the mix process.
10. In addition to as much written information as possible, you are welcome to provide a rough mix and commercially released referenced song. A commercial song is only a guide and results are completely dependent on the quality and style of the multi-track provided. You can add these files to the reference tracks folder in the email.
11. Information on which software was used to record the project.
12. A rough mp3 placement export.
13. Singers may need to email a rough guideline or voice over for the intended project and to specify the genre of the desired feel of the instrumental.
